Dear Parents,
It has finally come! The best weather of the year in my opinion. Freezing in the shade, boiling in the sun, perfect for getting a ten AND catching a cold. Lovely! In all seriousness, I do hope everyone is planning on getting out and enjoying this time of the year. As I write this, I hear the birds singing and the wind whipping through the campus. Zambia is truly a jewel. This week has been an exciting one for sure, and I want to give a hearty congratulations to all our G12s for their IB exams. They have worked SO hard over the past two years and this has culminated in what I fully expect to be fantastic IB results. Big thanks also to our Secondary faculty for invigilating, and particularly Ms. Monica Murphy, our DP Coordinator, for the tremendous job she’s done with the complicated logistics of conducting these exams. The coming week is also a very busy one. Starting on Monday with the Leopard Sports Awards at 5 PM, the week is filled with student exhibitions and ceremonies to enjoy and celebrate the learning here at AISL. The fun continues on Wednesday with the combined Band/Choir concert at 5:30, rolls on at noon on Friday with the Grade 12 Awards Ceremony, and concludes Saturday at 3 PM with Graduation. This all will be followed by a nap, but in that I can only speak for myself. Have a great weekend! Rick Odum Comments are closed.
