On May 19 and 20th the Primary School will open the PYP production for this year, Wilbur and the Web by Firesticks and Song's Jan Stroud. This years production highlights the talents of 45 students Grade 3-5. Since auditions in January, the students have been spending their time after school memorizing lines, painting scenery, planning light cues, and creating their characters. Wilbur and the Web is the story of a little pig named Wilbur who was born a runt, when Mr. Arable decides to kill him! His daughter Fern begs him to let the helpless little pig live. Her father decides to let Fern keep him as a pet. Wilbur meets a bunch of new friends including Charlotte. These pictures show the primary student theatre makers in action! Check out Wilbur and the Web, Friday and Saturday at 2:30. Tickets are 30 kwacha at the door, from Shantall at the main reception or the Friday Market. KEEP CALM and SAVE WILBUR!
