On Saturday 23 March AISL hosts its fifth annual MUN conference. Our theme this year is UNITING AGAINST ISOLATION.

This year eight schools namely Pestalozzi, ISL, Rhodes Park, Crested Crane, Lake Road, LICS, Baobab, and Nchalo join us to double the participants from last year! We expect 200 students and teachers on campus from 07:30 to 19:30.

ZAMMUN is a student led conference which means our students here at AISL have organised the entire day from the opening and closing ceremonies to allocation of countries and committees to training to organising meals and teas and guest speakers to raising funds to subsidise less privileged schools etc. etc.

ZAMMUN is truly a wonderful opportunity for students to lead. Not only this, the outreach to the local community is enriching for us all.

This year our guest speaker is the UN ambassador Ms. J Rogan.  We have Chairs from other schools for the first time. Teachers from other schools are also taking on more "hands on" roles in looking at resolutions and supervising teas and lunches.

During the day, there will be chair training led by Katrine Thirgood our Secretary General and teacher training led by Tom Potter and Ingrid Turner.

Our Committees and Topics for this year are:
